Warrenville Park District Receives Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency Award

The Warrenville Park District is proud to announce that we’ve been recognized as an Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency by the Illinois Association of Park Districts (IAPD) and the Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA). The award was accepted a luncheon during last weekend's IAPD IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference. This is our third time earning Illinois Distinguished Accreditation, a distinction held by only 49 agencies statewide - an achievement we’re incredibly proud of. We are exited to announce that during the Illinois Association of Park Districts Annual Business Meeting at the IAPD IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference, Commissioner Denise DiCianni received the Master Board Member Award as part of IAPD’s Board Member Development Program. Commissioner DiCianni, who has served on the board since 2019. Warrenville Park District Receives GFOA Award

We are pleased to announce the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Warrenville Park District for its comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2024. The report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
