ADA TRANSITION UPDATE

Warrenville Park District is pleased to announce that the District’s Americans with Disabilities (ADA) transition Plan has been updated.  It will be on display for public review and is expected to be adopted at the December 19, 2024 Park Board Meeting.  A public input meeting will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the Warrenville Park District 3S260 Warren Avenue in Room 201 at 5:45pm, all are welcome to attend.

It is our policy to welcome all people to Park District services, programs and activities, regardless of physical limitations. No participant shall, on the basis of race, sex, creed, national origin or disability, be denied equal access to programs, activities, services or benefits, or be limited in the exercise of any right, privilege, advantage or opportunity.

If you or a family member has a disability, and are interested in participating in a program or activity, or if you or a family member require assistance, please advise Park District staff. To assist the District in making these accommodations, contact staff before the start of the program or event to discuss accommodations for a smooth inclusion. In addition to programs listed in this brochure, the Park District also provides specialized services for people with disabilities through WDSRA.
