Warrenville Athletic Association

The WAA is a not-for-profit organization comprised of up to a 12-member all-volunteer board and is an affiliate of the Warrenville Park District. The WAA’s mission is to provide high quality youth baseball programs to Warrenville and surrounding communities. Emphasis at all levels is placed on sportsmanship, team spirit, and baseball fundamentals. It is the belief of the WAA that baseball programs serve our community by creating a place for our children to have fun, become more physically fit, learn good sportsmanship, and learn basic concepts of teamwork — including tolerance of others — and recognition of different skill levels.

Some of our major activities throughout the year include the pre-season banquet, season opener, All-Star games and the annual 4th of July Cerny Series. We also fund travel team tournaments, capital improvements, and general field maintenance via our procurement and management of Hotel Funds from the City of Warrenville.

The league is open to boys and girls between the ages of 5-14. Practices usually begin around April 1 with games starting April 30. Games are played throughout the week and continue until June. Playoffs for Pinto, Mustang, Bronco, and Pony leagues end the first week of July.
